"My sheep hear my voice," says the Shepherd of Love, "They respond to my gentle call. Those who are not a part of my fold Never hear My words at all."

"Why are their ears so dull of hearing? Why are they not tuned to My voice? It's because they are dead to spiritual truths -- To ignore Me is their natural choice."

We, as Christians, have heard Christ's invitation To follow Him as our Guide... We are tenderly treated, and comforted, too, As we journey close to His side.

He will never reject us or turn us away And eternal life to us He extends -- We'll never be lost or parted from Him-- Our relationship with Him never ends.

No-one, not even Satan, can snatch us away Or cause our feet to stumble For we are secure in His strong hand, In the pitfalls of life need not tumble.

The Shepherd covets our presence each day, Our fellowship and obedience true. He knows our name and our human frame -- He knows all about me and you!

And yet, He cares for each of His own, Even through the valley of death -- How we should love and serve Him, And praise Him with every breath!
