God knows all things! Nothing takes Him by surprise. Even some "bad" things may be blessings in disguise. Knowing what is best, He must sometimes overrule. Oft'times His answers we can tend to think most cruel.

We can trust His love and His purpose in our lives, He never changes and no good from us deprives. His promises stand! Ev'ry word we must believe. 'Tis then, and only then, His peace will be received.

So pray believing, not letting your faith waver, For then, only then, will you dwell in His favor. His great promises He expects His own to claim. Should it surprise you if He lived up to His name?

When I lay my head on my pillow, I find physical rest for my day But to comfort and heal my spirit, I must lay on Christ's bosom and pray.
