Here I sit lonely hearted and alone With polished words, the bargain's quickly made To pointless fears and hopelessness.Death's sigh. Weighed down and held by broad, consuming pain For you are as brief as angel's breath That burned the very page we raced to read To read all the prophesies of the seers Of pain, and fears, of general dispair And even through the silence, love has sound So I call to God, who lifts the heads of men Our eternity seen only through our death For better love, than none through life it runs I sob, I beg and fall to rise again To make them go with fingertips soft as the sea.
