Lord, can you hear you hear me, I am weeping. I am ashamed that I come to You in tears. My faith is sure and I will always trust You As I have trusted You in heart all these years. My heart yearns to be in Your presence, To sing with angels and the saints sweet songs of praise. Yet I also long to watch my children growing And to be here as example of living in Your will. I am torn between the greater love of my Creator And the gentle needs of the children You gave to me. What You gave You can take that is how it has always been And like Job I weep, but still raise my voice to praise Your Holy Name. There are days of pain and breathless struggle just to stay. I am lost and wonder for what should I ask And as always find it is for Your will I pray. Whether I stay or leave is in Your hands For it is Your breath I breathe. Forgive me Lord, when I wander from Your purpose And by Your Spirit comfort and guide me on my way. Let me raise my voice in praise for Your glory Ad let it be Your will I follow when I go or if I stay.
