We prayed our way to school today Like every day before, But today His Spirit filled our hearts to bursting And we prayed like choirs sing. The music of our rejoicing Was like the wind stirred by God's Spirit Bringing power to Christ's disciples As they joined in that Pentacostal prayer. New in Christ, my daighters prayed aloud about family; Not just flesh, but that found in Christ. They greeted me as father and brother And rejoiced in their new spiritual life. Whatever was said shone out from us. Students and parents stared at us all, As we parted the way for this morning Knowing we are always together in God.
