Beginnings are the places where awareness blooms Of things that have been in the mind of God Far longer than you or I are capable of imagining. Beginnings are interruptions in the plans of God Caused by our consciousness of what has been And will continue to be there all along. We usually see beginnings as if we discovered them When God has been pointing them out to us And encouraging us to see and breath the wonder Of His Spirit in our lives and circumstances. If only we could keep alive that childlike wonder We first knew as Christians: The children would always sense the presence Of the angels of faith, hope and love; Romance would continue withot interruption; Laughter would be the most common sound And the socks would always match.
