Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

There once was a child about 7 or 8. She was very depressed, lonely and aggravated. She didn't know if Santa was real but she knew that her family wouldn't be able to afford presents this year. So she cried and she cried as if there was no tomorrow. She asked God to send her a gift. She didn't want Daddy to be without a job. She didn't want mommy to have to cry anymore. She didn't want grandma to have to support them. She didn't want to have to move out. She prayed and prayed God would send her a sign that he still loved her in this hard of a time. It came Christmas Eve and no presents in sight. She was sure God didn't care anymore. So she went to bed and cried herself to sleep and dreamed that daddy and mommy were ok. She dreamed that daddy had a job again and that mommy didn't have to cry anymore. At about 6:00 in the morning, she woke up to a scream! It startled her for she knew it was mom. So she ran to the room where they had set up the tree, and there she saw presents and mom at the tree. She yelled for the kids to all come into the room and she soon remembered that God would provide. For on Christmas morning, they had toys and things they need like clothes and food.

So you see by this story there is a lesson to be learned. Trust God and never give up and God will provide!
