Ask Forgiveness

I ask forgiveness of You tonight for all in me that isn't right. I ask for cleansing and new sight and that with You, I will be tight. I ask forgiveness of You this day for all the things that I did say, that were contrary to Your Way, times from Your path I did stray.

I ask forgiveness for heart and mind, deeds ungodly and most unkind, the ways I put me in a bind, and faith in You, I couldn't find. I ask forgiveness for wastefulness, mos. of bitterness, self-righteousness, my fits of rage and emptiness, times of depression, when I cared less.

I ask forgiveness, for A-Z of all You've recorded on me. Wash me, Lord, help me be like Thee, 'til I've peace & joy, am set free!
