Calm in the Storm

I felt a storm cloud a-brewing, as a howling wind began to blow. rain pelting, thunder a-stewing , with the light'ning, the sky was a-glow. In fear, I cried out to my Lord. He said "Put forth your faith, for you know, that you can depend on My Word, remember the story of My the bow."

Then the waves, they came a-crashing, tho' I was weary, I could not sleep. Things of the sea came a-thrashing, would my boat succumb to the deep? "Bout the time that I thought I'd sink a beacon shone out, God came in time. Why...I had time to barely wink- I called on His name, me He did find!

Then calmly, the storm did abate, sweet peace fell on me. I cried with glee. God delivered me from such fate as would have awfully swallowed me. In your storm, give the Lord a call. Don't look down, around, but look above, trust in Him, for you shall not fall. He will come & give you His all. You're His child, He'll save with love. LuvzGod 2/23/04
