Giving thanks is easy, when You take a look around. For it doesn't matter who you are, There are blessings to be found.

It could be a neighbor's smile, or just A phone call form a friend, The warmth of the morning sunshine Or the starlight at day's end.

The melody of a favorite song, The bluebirds as they sing. A playground full of laughter, It could be most anything.

You see it's not just the big events, Those happen on life's way, But, let's take time for the simple things, And give Thanks for those today
