The grass is green...jonquils are up. Rains come now for flowers to sup. People, busy with work outside, With winter over, indoors can't abide.
How nice it is when God sends spring, New leaves, soft pine, birds on the wing. If allergies would go to stay, I'd better enjoy ev'ry brand new day.
He has not taken this slight thorn, So I'll don a mask each new morn, Venture outside, springs warmth to feel, See the splendor of each flowers appeal.
New Life in Christ comes through His blood Shed for us in Calvary's flood. You, too, can know this Saviour dear. Repent and believe...there's no cause to fear.
He waits for you with open arms. Come now, for He'll still your alarms. As spring brings new life to our world, Your sin can be covered, to the deep hurled.
His joy will live within your heart And "FILL your cup", not just a part. Joy remains, even in troubles. Abiding in Him, the portion doubles.
