The Pasture

Verse of the Day

For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

The Soul Within

God's Glory

Crippled, blind, disfigured, lame Dismissed for being unlike others The simple-minded folks, the same A waste of space, a worthless bother

If only they'd look beneath the skin And see God's love in the soul within

Their gifts of warmth, affection, love Can teach us all of Him above In His own likeness they were made In humble manger He was laid

He did not ask for wordly fortune He does not judge by looks alone To Him we all have equal worth And are His treasures here on Earth

When we look beneath the skin We see His beauty in the soul within
