The sky darkens to a dull grey as heavy clouds spread out like a thick blanket. At the sound of Your voice they release their load and shower all below.

The earth drinks of Your rain; You sustain all who breathes.(Mt. 5:45)

Lord, You let me drink not just of Your rain but of Your living water. My thirst is quenched; You satisfy my longing. Without Your water, I would shrivel and wither like a plant without nourishment.(John 4:13)

Giver and taker of all things, Sovereign, I praise You for my breath. And when I start to gasp, songs of gratitude will still utter from my soul.

For though I fade and change, holy and steadfast You remain.

Lord, I love You more than my life. Make this ever true. When my eyes look away from Your glory, break me in darkness until I surrender to Your light.

I cannot comprehend Your love; it is so much, enveloping one who does not deserve You. Arms of mercy wrap around my weak body; You are my strength.

All that I have belongs to You. Thank You for Your life, pouring down like rain upon me. I thirst no more, for You drench me with Your purpose.

Make me be like the four living creatures-"Day and night they never stop saying: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.'"

And like the twenty-four elders who "fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him who lives forever and ever.

They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 'You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.'" (Rev.4:8-11)

Holy, holy, holy are You.
