The Answer
Greatly stirred, eyes blurred.
Love famished, forgiveness vanished.
Battered life, of tears and strife
Smiles forgotten, trust rotten
Sharp words, gathering hazards
Hatred creeps, the Spirit weeps
Hopes deserted, emotions knotted
Senses shut, stupidity struts
If you're all this, and you want bliss
Look not to the world or into darkness you will be hurled.
Calm your soul; there is a God who makes you whole.
Listen to the knock, Jesus calling his flock
“Here I am, the Living Water, all you need is My power
I who the great sea did divide, here in your heart wish to reside
Your brokenness I will heal, the plans for you I will reveal.
With goodness, peace and mercy I will satisfy, all your needs I will supply.
Peace My child, you who have been inflicted, beguiled.
I am the Lord Almighty; I want you with Me all eternity.
For you I bled and died, that you may in Me abide.
Fear not, for I am your Lord God, Over you none shall trod”
Heed His call, for He is All-in-All.
Open your heart, tear the walls apart!
The light of a million mornings, the well-spring of all blessings,
Has come to you, oh Rejoice! In praise and song lift up your voice!
When you cry, when you mourn, remember you are not alone.
He is there through suffering and pain, sunshine and rain.
Even if your faith is dormant, God thinks of you every moment.
Hold firm onto His promise; in humility and truth say ‘I love you, Jesus.'
